About New York Bats: New York bat control
problems can sometimes get out of control. The ET Pest Control units
works great repelling the New York Bat. They simply plug-in to any house
hold outlet or they can be plugged-in on the end of an extension cord to
get into tight and confined areas. The
common bat in New York weighs about the same as 1 or 2 quarters.
The little brown bat, native to New York State,
has been recorded at over 34 years of age. The bats
in New York are our major predators of nocturnal insects. There are six
common bat species found in New York across the state. They are the
Keen's Bat, Little Brown Bat, Silver-Haired Bat, Big Brown Bat, Red Bat,
and the Hoary Bat.
Bats have adapted well to our urban and suburban environments. Bats can
be found in and around buildings, bridges, and other manmade structures.
The most common place to find bats in homes are the gable vents. Gable
vents are screened vents located in peaks of gables that aid in proper
attic ventilation. Although most bats do not have rabies, those that do
may be disoriented and unable to fly, which makes it more likely that
they will come into contact with humans.
Avoid handling bats or having
them in one's living space, as with any wild animal. Please use proper
caution.
If you have bats in your attic, roof, vents, or crawl spaces, the ET
Pest Control will repel them from the area.
We are very confident that the
ET Pest Control
will demand your New York bat problem to leave your home with positive
