About Iowa Bats: Iowa bat controls problems can
get out of control. The ET Pest Control units works great
repelling the Idaho Bat. They simply plug-in to any house hold outlet or
they can be plugged-in on the end of an extension cord to get into tight
and confined areas.
Iowa is home to nine species of insect eating bats including the big
brown bat, little brown bat, red bat, evening bat, hoary bat, northern
long eared bat, silver bat and eastern pipistrelle. The most common bats
found in Iowa are the Big Brown Bat, the Little Brown Bat, Red Bat, and
the Evening Bat.
Bats have adapted well to our urban and suburban environments. Bats can
be found in and around buildings, bridges, and other manmade structures.
The most common place to find bats in homes are the gable vents. Gable
vents are screened vents located in peaks of gables that aid in proper
attic ventilation. Although most bats do not have rabies, those that do
may be disoriented and unable to fly, which makes it more likely that
they will come into contact with humans.
Avoid handling bats or having
them in one's living space, as with any wild animal. Please use proper
caution.
We are very confident that the
ET Pest Control
